- 500gBeef sirloin
- 300gGreen beans
- 4clovesGarlic
- 3tbspSoy sauce
- 2tbspOyster sauce
- 1tbspSesame oil
- 1tbspCornstarch
- 1tbspGinger
- 2tbspVegetable oil
- 2cupsSteamed rice for serving

Slice beef against the grain into thin strips. Toss with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Marinate 10 minutes.

Trim green beans and cut into 5cm pieces.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok over very high heat until smoking.

Add beef in a single layer and sear without stirring for 1 minute, then stir-fry for another minute. Remove and set aside.

Add more oil to the wok. Stir-fry green beans for 2-3 minutes until blistered.

Add garlic and ginger, cook for 30 seconds.
