  • 2sheetsShortcrust pastry
  • 1sheetPuff pastry
  • 1largeOnion
  • 1cupBeef stock
  • 2tbspTomato paste
  • 1tbspWorcestershire sauce
  • 2tbspFlour
  • 1cupCheese
  • 1wholeEgg

    Brown beef mince with diced onion. Drain excess fat.

    Add flour and stir to coat the meat. Cook for 1 minute.

    Add beef stock, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes until thick. Season well and let cool completely.

    Preheat oven to 200C. Grease a 6-hole pie tin.

    Line each hole with shortcrust pastry, trimming the edges.

    Fill with cooled mince mixture and top with grated cheese.
